Privacy

ZW Reborn keeps as little as it can, and nothing is sold or shared.

What ZW Reborn keeps

• Your username and a scrambled copy of your password (Argon2id). The password itself is never stored.
• Your game save: everything the game needs, such as espers, items and progress.
• The devices you play on: the ID the game sends for your PC or phone, your Steam ID when you play on PC, and a device name for phone logins. They keep you logged in and let you see where you're logged in.
• When you last played, so staff can see how many people are playing.
• Your support reports: what you write in Report a problem, the platform you picked and staff's replies, kept with your username so staff can answer.
• A request log of what the game asked the server, with the address you connected from on sign-ins, for finding bugs and stopping abuse.

Cookies and this browser

This site sets one cookie, and only when you sign in: it keeps you signed in for 30 days. If you pick light or dark, that choice is kept in your browser. There are no ads, no trackers and no outside analytics. The fonts and pictures are served from this server.

Who sees it

Only the fans who run ZW Reborn. The server makes backups of all accounts every few hours, so progress isn't lost if something goes wrong.

Deleting your account

Sign in on your account page and use Delete my account. It removes your username, your game save, your devices and your support reports straight away. Copies in the regular backups are replaced within about a week, and the staff log keeps a line saying the account was deleted.
